Overview

The XJ-generation Cherokee helped define the modern compact SUV segment in the late 80s and early 90s, with a boxy unibody shape that proved surprisingly capable off-road despite its more car-like construction. This set captures that distinctly 90s silhouette, right down to the square headlights.

</details>

Design & Inspiration

The XJ’s design favors simple, flat panels and a straightforward greenhouse shape typical of the era, and we’ve kept the model’s proportions boxy and upright, with square headlight units built as a clear nod to the Cherokee’s period-correct front end.

</details>

Build & Display

Every GTblocks set is engineered from official building instructions and genuine, third-party compatible bricks, panel-gapped and finished to a standard that holds up on a shelf or in a display case. The square headlights and simple roof rails are built as accurate period details, keeping the model’s 90s SUV proportions faithful to the original XJ. Expect the kind of parts-count and engineering integrity that makes the build itself as satisfying as the finished model.

</details>

Why GTblocks

GTblocks exists for one reason: to turn iconic cars into brick models that actually look right on a shelf. Every set ships from our own warehouse with GTblocks packaging, a numbered instruction booklet, and the same 29,90€ price across the whole range — no hidden fees, no import surprises.

</details>
