This set steps outside the road car world entirely to recreate a modern Formula 1 car — open wheels, an open cockpit, and a maze of front and rear wing elements designed purely to generate downforce at speeds few road cars will ever reach. It’s one of the most technically ambitious builds in the GTblocks range.

An F1 car has no bodywork in the traditional sense — every element exists to manage airflow, from the multi-element front wing to the exposed pushrod suspension. We’ve translated that complexity into brick form using layered, thin plating for the wing elements and exposed structural detail around the cockpit and sidepods.

Every GTblocks set is engineered from official building instructions and genuine, third-party compatible bricks, panel-gapped and finished to a standard that holds up on a shelf or in a display case. The front and rear wings are built with multiple thin elements to capture their layered, multi-plane real-world design, and the halo cockpit protection device is included as an accurate safety-era detail. Expect the kind of parts-count and engineering integrity that makes the build itself as satisfying as the finished model.
