This version of the Miata is built with its fabric roof down, showing off the MX-5’s simple, driver-focused cockpit and reinforcing what makes the world’s best-selling roadster so beloved — there’s nothing between you and the open air. The rounded, friendly headlights and short rear deck are all present, just without a roof to interrupt the silhouette.
Design & Inspiration
Building a convertible with the top down means the interior has to hold up to scrutiny, and we’ve made sure the model’s seats, dashboard, and shifter are all properly detailed rather than left as a flat, empty tub, since there’s no folded roof to hide behind.
Build & Display
Every GTblocks set is engineered from official building instructions and genuine, third-party compatible bricks, panel-gapped and finished to a standard that holds up on a shelf or in a display case. The cabin is fully detailed with separate seats and a dashboard, and the folded soft-top is represented as a small, tucked-away detail behind the seats, just like the real car.
